Marriage
License Requirements
The fee for your license is payable
directly
to the
licensing authority.
For ID, you must have either a passport OR the combination of driver’s
license and social security card, as well as proof of divorce if applicable.
In
Florida, you can get married the same day as you purchase your marriage
license and there is no
residency requirement. (There is a three day waiting
period if you
are a Florida resident.)
Locally,
pick up your License at Clerk of the Circuit Court Monroe County Courthouse,
500 Whitehead Street, Key West, Florida 33030. Open M-F 8:30-5:00, closed
holidays, phone 305-294-4641.

Take U.S. 1 South on Truman Ave., right
on Whitehead
Street, located at mile marker zero.
Directions to FantaSea Weddings: 3201 Flagler Avenue
Suites 510 & 511
From Whitehead Street, go to Eaton Street and turn
right. Go straight to Flagler Avenue and turn left.
Go straight. FantaSea Weddings is located inside
Neat Stuff, which is located across the street from
Bank of
America.
Both parties must be 18 years of age or older, or
16 with parental consent.
There
is no blood test, and no waiting period for
Non-Florida Residents.
If
you are divorced or widowed, the date and/or certificate of divorce or
death is necessary. If Your divorce is less
then six months ago,
you will need to bring your divorce papers.
If you are unable to obtain your license at the Courthouse due to time
constraints, there is a way to obtain it by email. It does involve an extra
